A workshop of movement & nutrition designed for the changing female body through the stages of perimenopause & menopause. From symptom management, greater understanding to movement & nutrition.
This Workshop is focused around perimenopause & menopause. Pilates 44 Studio, Diploma Comprehensive Pilates Instruction, has collaborated with Miriam Rose Natural Health DipHSc (Nutritional Medicine), BHSc (Naturopathy), Master of Human Nutrition, both have a strong focus on Women's Health and we are so excited to bring our collective clients a holistic approach to well-being.

Participants will need to be Covid-19 Vaccinated as our Studio caters for many immunocompromised client's. We also require QR check in.
Nutrition with Miriam Rose - Miriam will be delivering information on diet, lifestyle and some key nutritional supplements for perimenopausal and menopausal women. There will also be a summary handout for all participants to take home with the key points discussed. Questions are encouraged.
Pilates 44 Studio - Perimenopause and Menopause need special consideration when designing programs for movement so as to balance the need to move the body with the fine line of over exciting stress hormones. Pilates may offer alleviation from symptoms that are experienced during these times. Including; Fatigue and lethargy, bone density loss, strength and flexibility, coordination and cognition, balance and also mental health.
You may have found yourself with lethargy, insomnia, migraine headaches, aching joints, forgetfulness, lack of spatial awareness (left and right is a good example), brain fog and vagueness. Even notable changes in some with plantar fasciitis and arthritic changes in the hands. Join us for what will be a fun and eye opening learning experience.
