Pelvic Floor Health

Carolyne Anthony Method ™

Relax-release-realign-restore™.

This course lays the foundation for all modules within the CAM program. Taking an in depth look at the female pelvic floor from a functional and healthy standpoint. We aim to demystify the application of the function of the pelvic floor muscles to movement and show you how the pelvic floor functions normally and naturally with your breath and everyday activities. This course is one module in the Center for Women’s Fitness; Women’s Health and Exercise Specialist Certification™ and Women’s Health Pilates Specialist Certification™.

The Carolyne Anthony Method™ is all about supporting women through every stage of life with movement that truly meets the body where it’s at using gentle & intuitive techniques. Bringing together Pilates, breathwork & myofascial release techniques the CAM™ focuses on the corset of the body, the pelvic floor, fascial systems & the nervous system. Areas that are overloaded or overlooked during pregnancy birth, post birth & hormonal shifts.

Carolyne Anthony, founder of The Center for Women’s Fitness, is a globally respected educator who has dedicated over 30 years to the study of women’s health & movement. Her method started with a postnatal client suffering from abdominal separation—what we now know as diastasis recti. That moment sparked a journey that would span decades.

Carolyne pulled from her own experience through pregnancies, births and motherhood as well as Pilates, ballet, John F. Barnes’ myofascial release, doula training & the lived experience of working with real women in real time. It resulted in a method that’s both structured & deeply intuitive. Gentle, but powerfully effective.
