Covid-19 Policy

Pilates 44 Studio is committed to the health and well being of staff and clients. We have a Covid-19 safety plan registered  with  the NSW Government. The Studio will keep up to date on directions from the Department of Health and your State/Territory governments. Due to this please be aware that the below conditions are subject to change.

We respectfully ask you NOT attend our Studio if:

  • You have been having any flu like symptom's. If so we ask that you let us know and do not attend the Studio (we have make up sessions for equipment classes and online prerecorded lessons on the website).

  • You have been diagnosed as suffering COVID-19.

  • You have knowingly been in contact with a diagnosed COVID-19 patient.

If you are in doubt about any of the above, please contact your practitioner to discuss before attending your session.

What will be required of you

Covid-19 Vaccination We have a duty of care to all that come into the Studio, meaning that we have a moral or legal obligation to ensure the safety or well-being of others.

Will I need to have my Covid-19 Vaccination?

Yes. In line with the direction of NSW Health, to attend our Studio physically clients will need to show that they have been vaccinated fully for Covid-19. This is not to be confused with being mandatory. We believe in choice; those choices being too align with our ethics and care for our clients and staff or the choice to attend another Studio that may not require the same level of cooperation. Our clients are grateful for the level of care we take surrounding their health and safety.

Why do I need to have my vaccination?

We take the health and safety of our clients and staff seriously. Many of our clients include those with immunocompromised conditions, meaning they could be a higher risk of becoming severely ill should they be exposed to Covid-19.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a medical exemption form your GP then we ask that you provide those details.

  • As of Term 3  being 12 July 2021, masks must be worn while inside the Studio until further notice from NSW State Health.

  • You will be required to continue to sign in via our QR code on the front desk. If you are having trouble accessing this app please let us know and we can assist.

  • Hand sanitiser is supplied for all staff and clients. Please sanitise hands upon entry to the Studio and before using the equipment and then again upon leaving.

  • Our Studio only ever holds semi private session (3 or 4 clients to 1 teacher) or private 1.1 sessions. Being a boutique Studio that specialises in attention to detail, we do not hold group classes, therefore social distancing is easily achieved.

  • PLEASE try not to mingle in the entry. When you arrive place your shoes/bags in the area designated and move down to your equipment to set up. This allows consistent flow for others coming in behind you.

  • Sessions are staggered with 30 minutes between finish and start which allows for cleaning between sessions and so clients are not all starting and finishing at the same time. We ask that clients arrive only 5 minutes before their session.

  • The Studio door will be locked at the beginning of class. Classes will start on time and run for 50 minutes.

  • Suitable Pilates grip socks must be worn at all times within the Studio.

  • Reformer client's will be required to use a Reformermat available at the Studio, or a thin Yoga mat that you can fold over.

  • Your instructor has completed the required online training from COVID-19 infection control.

  • Our stand alone Air Conditioning unit will be adjusted where necessary to provide fresh air.

We reserve the right to change, update or reissue these Terms and Conditions at any time.  Any such changes will be posted to our Website and you agree to be bound by such changes.

All clients require an induction in to the Studio from 20 July, 2020.

By reading this you agree to observe our Studio terms and conditions and policies at all times.
