Semi private floor work is a perfect way to experience floor Pilates with a focus on functional day to day movement. Classes are limited to 4 clients for a more intimate focused experience allowing a greater attention to correct movement and adjustments or modifications that are required.
These classes incorporate classic and contemporary floor movement, the wunda chair, oov and the spine corrector. Our sessions are designed to give the body feedback and challenge movement while creating alignment and harmony.
Floor term also includes unlimited access throughout the term to our online Virtual Pilates library of pre recorded lessons, which is where clients will be directed should they not be able to come in to their class during the week.
Using our own body resistance and body awareness, can provide us with toning and lengthening of muscles, flexibility, mobility, balance, coordination and the body mind connection. With regular Pilates practice, our clients gain improved alignment and posture, develop stronger bodies, they improve breathing patterns, flexibility, balance, coordination, and gain education about mindful movement of their bodies.
TERM SESSION $275.00 (10 week term)
Joining the Studio is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. This gives our clientele continuity and the opportunity to grow their skills within their movement practice. It also allows for intimate knowledge of each client’s specific needs for modifications to support injury recovery or pain management.
Our floor and reformer classes are not suitable for chronic injury or spinal injury.
